DropClear: Water Eject Support

Help with sound output, audio routing, haptic feedback, session behavior, safe use, and persistent speaker problems.

No sound is playing

Raise the media volume, disconnect wired accessories, and confirm audio is not being routed to AirPods, a Bluetooth speaker, CarPlay, or another external device. Stop the current session, reopen DropClear, and try again.

Sound is quiet or distorted

Remove cases or accessories that cover the speaker openings, keep the speaker area unobstructed, and avoid pressing the device against fabric or a flat surface. Persistent distortion can indicate moisture or hardware damage that an app cannot repair.

Haptics are not noticeable

Haptic strength and availability vary by device, system state, accessibility settings, and the active session. The audio portion may still run when haptic feedback is reduced or unavailable.

Recommended device position

Disconnect charging cables, hold the iPhone securely with the speaker area facing downward, and keep the openings clear. Do not shake the device aggressively, insert objects into the speaker, or use compressed air.

When to stop

Stop the session if the device becomes unusually warm, produces abnormal mechanical sound, shows a liquid-detection or charging warning, or appears physically damaged. Do not charge a wet device.

Persistent audio problems

DropClear cannot diagnose internal damage or guarantee liquid removal. If sound remains muffled after the device has had time to dry, or if the phone experienced significant liquid exposure, follow Apple guidance and contact an authorized service provider.

Purchases and downloads

App Store downloads, payment history, refunds, and purchase restoration are managed by Apple. Confirm the device uses the Apple Account that originally obtained the app.

Privacy

DropClear does not require a microphone recording or account for its core sound sessions. Review the DropClear Privacy Policy for local processing and diagnostics details.

What to include

Include the DropClear version, iPhone model, iOS version, selected session or mode, whether Bluetooth was connected, whether sound or haptics were missing, and the exact steps that produced the problem.
